When I was young, it was my dream to go to Japan. I was so into it that I even learned the Japanese language with the help of my Japanese cousins. I was obsessed with anything about it, from manga to fashion, and even its culture. But I started to grow out of it and came another one...


With the sudden hype of Korean Wave (hallyu), I was one who got influenced by it. It started when Boys Over Flowers (Kottboda Namja) dominated the television. My cousin and I watched that show and we grew passion in the Korean culture. We started listening and dancing to Korean music. We started dressing the same style as them. She started putting Ulzzang make-ups on while I cut and dyed my hair with latest hairstyle Korean men do. We never grew out of it actually and even managed to learn their writing, called Hangul, and their super duper difficult language.

As of now, we still share on what good Korean movie to watch. We watched plenty of them. Those heart-breaking and tear-jerking stories are sure hit to us. The best movie I've watched (for me) is My Sassy Girl. It's a good love story that did not need to add dying character but was still effective in making its audience cry.


My cousin also has her many Korean celebrity crushes. From Lee Min Ho to Jang Geun Suk, she seems to collect every good-looking boy that comes her eyes in watching Korean movies and dramas. She often falls into fight with other netizens who have crushes on the same person she has crush on, as if her real-life boyfriends.


On my part, I deeply fell into Korean skincare and fashion. I do their complicated steps in lotioning the face. I've learned many things on how to take care of my skin. From masks to packs, I am certain that I will never grow out of it. I always ask my relatives in Korea to send me skincare products, such as emulsion, essence, sunblock and the like. I even have my pending product still to be shipped to me, my Missha BB Cream. Hehehe.


I can say that Korean taught me VANITY. I really think it did. I guess it's a good thing for me especially to my appearance.

My Daily Routine

It's 6:42 am here and I'm still awake and kicking. I'll be blogging about my daily routine this time. Hmmm. Where do I start? Of course upon waking up in the morning/afternoon/evening, I drink a glass of water. I read somewhere in the net that doing so decreases the chance of, uhmmm, I forgot. but it helps your body in a way. I open the fridge and get an ice cube and massage it all over my face until it melts. I read, again, (I love reading you know xD) that it helps blood to circulate better on your face. I check my phone to see who texted me while I was in my dreamland. These SMS are just GMs (group messages) and it annoys me. Would you wanna read "Good morning!" or "gwAh u?" (jejemon text meaning "What are you doing?"). After deleting them, yes all of them, I log on to my PC and check Facebook, my emails, Yahoo! News, etc. I spend half my lifetime in front of my computer hahaha. I eat every single hour cause I'm trying to gain some mass. And uhmmm, I go to my aunts' houses and check their tables and refrigerators for foods. When the evening comes, we watch our favorite dramas (locally known as teleseryes). We often find ourselves cursing the antagonists, carried-away, while arguing on what really happened to this and to that. It's our habit to drink coffee and smoke (haha I admit)while watching TV. After watching, I take a bath and do my skincare regimen. I spend about an hour inside the bathroom and don't blame me, I use 4-6 soaps on my body. Upon going out of the bathroom, I drink a glass of water again (for health purposes again). I open my PC and play Cityville (addicted to that game grrr) and lurk around Facebook reading the woos of my friends about their lives and relationships. And..... what else. I eat and eat and eat. Uhmmm before I sleep I wash my face and do my night time skincare routine and drink a glass of water again (yeah I know health purposes), listen to my favorite songs on my player, imagine that I'm rich, count sheep, toss around my bed, sleep, nightmares, wake up, sleep again, and back to beginning. Actually this is not detailed. I did it in purpose so I can write more blogs. Hahahaha. Peace out!

My skin's history =)

          Yeah yeah yeah. I'm back and to my surprise, I still have no follower yet hahaha. They're not interested with me by the way, are they? Since last year, I've been trying to give my skin the best reward it could get and I'm seeing no improvement at all :'(. The first thing i said I would accomplish was to "whiten" my complexion. And uh, needless to say, I envy, I envy must I repeat, the skin of Korean celebrities. Those milky, radiant, and dewy skin that anyone would dream of having, is still out of reach for me.

        When I was 15 (3rd year high school), my face broke out with the horrible, ever-stress-causing ACNE. Medications and plenty of it helped but left me with my loyal SCARS (they're still with me clinging on my face, loyal huh?). It was so depressing that suicide was the only option i had.......... kidding. Really, it was embarrassing. I would not look directly at the eyes of person I would talk to. I was super conscious on to what they're gonna think. Some would even confront me and disgrace my poor, scarred face, and say, "Oh my, what happened to your face?" (It's scarred b**ch! Isn't it obvious?). But then, I did not give up. I promised myself to bring my old face back when I was young (then why old? Should it be young? Urgh). That's when VANITY came my way. Ahahahaah!

          I searched the net for remedies, cure, treatment, etc. on how to remove these blemishes. i found hundreds of results and tried them one by one. My skin improved, but these scars did not. I do not know, maybe?

        As of now, I am in a regimen of skincare which I will blog on these coming days that I guess helped me improve my skin's condition.

A Sudden AMBITION

        Who would not admire those faces that keep on popping-out in your television screens. From good-looking  TVC models, hosts, singers, actors, newscasters.Even somehow those who do not look their best, urgh, better I guess, are circulating every media like a disease. I'm talking about these local celebrities who attained their A-list statuses due to their mass exposure and appeal. I sometimes wonder, how did they make it there? I sometimes find the answers, it's because of reality-shows, talents-search based programs, with the help of YouTube... What else? Hmmmm. A thought came my  junk-filled mind, what if I'm a celebrity? How does it feel? With the sudden death of the young AJ Perez (RIP bro...) came his many fans and supporters, I give a little jealousy out of it. I searched Mr. Google last night and looked for the website of Star Magic wishing that they attached there how to be one of them. I clicked on the "Contact Us" section and learned that you must go to their office personally bringing with you photos of your tight-shot and whole body. I felt hopeless but still I sent an e-mail containing my wishful thinking of becoming a part of their home-grown talents. I checked my e-mails a while ago and there's no response from Star Magic. It's frustrating, I know, but that won't stop me. I must find ways on how to be a celebrity. Join me as I find my way to stardom 'cause I'll be famous someday! =)
